Clinical Supervisor

Christina Mudarri

LMHC

As a Clinical Supervisor, I am passionate about supporting the growth and development of clinicians through collaborative, reflective, and culturally responsive supervision. My supervisory approach emphasizes ethical practice, clinical confidence, and helping therapists develop their own authentic therapeutic voice.

I am a bilingual psychotherapist fluent in English and Spanish, and my clinical work has centered on supporting adolescents and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and identity-related concerns. I believe deeply in the importance of culture, language, and lived experience in the healing process and bring these values into both my clinical and supervisory work.

Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse and high-risk environments, including detention settings, which has deepened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the impact that systems and life experiences can have on mental health. My work is grounded in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and client-centered care that honors each person's unique experiences and strengths.

Clinical Specialties & Areas of Interest

My clinical experience includes supporting adolescents and adults navigating:

  • Anxiety and mood-related concerns

  • Depression and emotional distress

  • Trauma and complex life experiences

  • Identity exploration and self-awareness

  • Culturally responsive and bilingual care in English and Spanish

My experience in high-risk and detention settings has further strengthened my understanding of trauma, resilience, and the importance of creating safe, compassionate, and affirming spaces for healing.

My Approach to Supervision

I strive to create a supervisory space that feels supportive, reflective, and empowering. I encourage clinicians to approach their work with curiosity, cultural humility, and confidence while developing strong clinical skills and ethical decision-making practices.

I often incorporate creative and experiential methods alongside evidence-based practices, drawing from my training in clinical mental health counseling and art therapy to support expression, reflection, and professional growth.
