I provide holistic, trauma-informed psychotherapy to adults navigating anxiety, trauma, chronic stress, and the emotional challenges that can arise from life's experiences. As a Jamaican therapist, I understand the importance of identity, lived experience, and cultural context in the healing process and strive to create spaces where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.
I am licensed as a Mental Health Counselor with diagnostic privileges in New York and as a Professional Counselor in New Jersey. I am also a Nationally Certified Counselor and hold advanced certifications as a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, and Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional.

My therapeutic approach is integrative and grounded in evidence-based care. I draw from humanistic, psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, acceptance and commitment, holistic, and narrative therapies while honoring the connection between mind, body, identity, and lived experience.
Leadership & Clinical Supervision
With 20 years of experience across social services and mental health settings, my background includes direct client care with adults, program development, clinical supervision, training, quality assurance, and practice leadership. These experiences have shaped my belief that meaningful progress happens when structure, compassion, and accountability work together.
As a Clinical Supervisor and practice leader, I support clinicians in developing strong clinical judgment, ethical decision-making, accurate documentation, and confident professional identities. My work includes supervising clinicians, providing case consultation, supporting clinical quality, and helping maintain standards of care across the practice.
I founded Love Light to create a practice where therapy is accessible, identity-affirming, and grounded in human connection. My vision is to continue building a space where clients feel supported in their healing and clinicians feel supported in their growth.

Outside the Therapy Room
Outside of sessions, I value slowing down and staying connected to what brings balance and joy into daily life. I enjoy spending time with family, being intentional about rest, and creating space for reflection and personal growth. I’m drawn to experiences that support wellness, creativity, and presence and prioritize practices that help me stay grounded and aligned, both personally and professionally.
