Clinical Supervisor
Anthony Skerritt
LMHC
As a Clinical Supervisor, I am passionate about supporting the growth and development of emerging clinicians through collaborative, reflective, and culturally responsive supervision. My supervisory approach emphasizes ethical practice, clinical confidence, and helping therapists develop their own authentic therapeutic voice.
As an African American psychotherapist, I understand how cultural identity and lived experiences can shape emotional well-being. My work is grounded in strength-focused, client-centered care and a belief that meaningful growth happens through authentic connection, insight, and resilience.
Clinical Specialties & Areas of Interest
My clinical experience includes working with young adults and adults navigating:
Anxiety and mood-related concerns
Depression and emotional distress
Identity exploration and self-esteem concerns
Relationship and interpersonal challenges
Life transitions and personal development
I also have experience supporting individuals, couples, and families and have a particular passion for helping young adults navigate identity, relationships, and their sense of purpose.
My Approach to Supervision
I believe growth happens through reflection, collaboration, and authentic connection. My approach to supervision encourages clinicians to build on their strengths, deepen their self-awareness, and develop confidence in their clinical judgment while maintaining high standards of ethical and culturally responsive care.
I strive to create a supervisory space that feels supportive, empowering, and grounded in curiosity and mutual respect. I bring the same strengths-based and client-centered values that guide my clinical work into my supervision, supporting clinicians as they continue to develop their skills and professional identities.
