Associate Therapist | New York, New Jersey

Sayana Bradley

MHC-I

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, emotional distress, ADHD, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and significant periods of change. I understand that these experiences can affect the way you see yourself, connect with others, manage everyday responsibilities, and feel about what is possible for your life.

I provide a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your experiences with honesty and without judgment. My goal is to help you better understand the thoughts, emotions, experiences, and patterns affecting your well-being while developing greater self-awareness, healthier ways of coping, and a stronger connection with yourself and others.

Who I Support

I support:

  • Individuals navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, and emotional overwhelm

  • Young adults exploring identity, relationships, independence, and significant life changes

  • Women and women of color seeking culturally responsive and affirming therapy

  • Individuals navigating ADHD, including its impact on emotions, self-esteem, relationships, and everyday life

  • Individuals working through relationship and relational challenges

  • Couples seeking stronger communication, connection, and healthier relationship patterns

  • Individuals whose Christian faith is an important part of their identity and healing

I especially enjoy supporting young adults, women and women of color, individuals navigating ADHD and anxiety, and those working through relationship concerns. I also welcome individuals who would like their Christian faith to be respected and meaningfully incorporated into therapy as part of their values, identity, and healing.

My Approach

My approach is holistic, integrative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive. I believe healing involves the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and that therapy should provide space to understand not only what you are experiencing, but also the experiences, beliefs, relationships, and stories that have shaped how you see yourself and the world.

I draw from:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify connections between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and reshape patterns that may contribute to anxiety or emotional distress.

  • Narrative Therapy to explore the stories and beliefs you carry about yourself and how they may influence your identity, relationships, and sense of what is possible.

  • Motivational Interviewing (MI) to explore your goals, strengthen motivation for change, and work through uncertainty that may arise along the way.

  • Person-Centered Therapy to create a warm and collaborative environment where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your therapeutic process.

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy to approach difficult experiences with attention to safety, trust, empowerment, and the ways trauma can affect both emotional and physical well-being.

I also incorporate psychoeducation and holistic, mind-body strategies to help you better understand what you're experiencing and develop practical tools for everyday life.

Education & Professional Status

I am pursuing my Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Yeshiva University's Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Empire State University.

I practice under clinical supervision in accordance with New York State regulations. Ongoing supervision supports ethical, high-quality care and helps ensure you receive thoughtful, client-centered treatment while your privacy remains protected.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of sessions, I enjoy traveling, the arts, fine dining, and exploring what it means to live with intention in a world that never slows down.
